Carl Brister Takes Center Stage in Red Bank with Porchfest Performance and 'Hello' Music Video Screening

New Jersey recording artist Carl Brister will be featured in a special weekend of music in Red Bank, beginning with a live performance at Red Bank Porchfest today, Saturday, October 3, at 2:00 p.m. at 42 Elm Street, followed Sunday by a big-screen presentation of Brister’s music video for his reimagining of Lionel Richie’s timeless classic, “Hello.”

On Sunday, October 4 at 4:30 p.m., Brister’s “Hello” music video will screen during the Two River Music Video Festival at Basie Center Cinemas, 36 White Street, Red Bank, New Jersey.

The Two River Music Video Festival celebrates local artists and supports live neighborhood music while showcasing independent artists, cinematographers, directors and content creators from the Garden State and beyond on the big screen.

Admission to Sunday’s festival is free, with donations encouraged. A portion of proceeds from donations will benefit Red Bank Porchfest, helping support the community music event that brings live performances directly into Red Bank neighborhoods.

For Brister, the weekend provides two distinct opportunities for audiences to experience his artistry — first through an intimate live community performance at Porchfest and then through the cinematic presentation of his music on the big screen.

Brister’s reimagining of “Hello” brings his own musical interpretation to the song made famous by legendary singer-songwriter Lionel Richie. The accompanying music video expands that interpretation visually, bringing the recording to life through film.
